Operating Principle

FCMA–RS (Rotor Starter) is designed to start Slip Ring Induction Motors by inserting controlled resistance into the rotor circuit. Initially, the starter limits inrush current while developing the required starting torque. As motor speed increases, the rotor resistance is automatically reduced in a stepless manner, maintaining nearly constant current and torque throughout acceleration.

This ensures smooth, reliable, and vibration-free starting of driven equipment from zero to full speed. FCMA–RS is designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with IEC, IS, and BS standards for dependable industrial performance.
